Dak Prescott completed 26-of-31 passes for 279 yards and four touchdowns in the Cowboys’ 37-20, Week 2 win over the Commanders. 2026-09-20 20:00:01 Dak and the Cowboys faced little resistance from the Commanders’ defense in this one. The Cowboys came out firing from the start, as Prescott orchestrated a 10-play, 66-yard opening drive that ended with a three-yard touchdown pass to CeeDee Lamb, who had three receptions on the drive. Prescott threw his second touchdown of the game to Jake Ferguson, who broke free in the end zone for a 10-yard score, and in the third quarter, the two connected again for a 12-yard score. Dak found Lamb for a 24-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to set the Cowboys’ franchise record for career touchdown passes (249), putting the finishing touches on what was an impressive day. Prescott will be a fringe QB1/QB2 in next week’s game against the Ravens in Rio De Janeiro. |

The Cowboys now turn the page to Week 2 as they prepare to host another division opponent in the Commanders in what has quickly become a near must-win game for both teams, where Prescott will look to return to the QB1 ranks in a plus matchup. |
