With a comfortable lead, Lawrence rested in the fourth quarter, finishing with a whopping 0.72 EPA per play. Nick Mullens tallied three kneel-downs in relief. Liam Coen’s offense will generate many fantasy opportunities across the board, especially when operating as efficiently as it did Week 1. Last season, Lawrence was rehabbing an injury while attempting to change his footwork and adjust to a new play caller. He is now calmer and “can play more freely the way he did in the second half of last season.” Lawrence was the overall QB1 in total scoring from Weeks 9-18. If Lawrence and his pass catchers can carry the momentum into 2026, Lawrence can once again finish as an elite QB1, this time from Week 1 onward. |

Jaguars HC Liam Coen said he is “trending toward” playing the starters in Friday’s preseason game against the Panthers. 2026-08-17 17:00:02 The Jaguars didn’t play any starters in last week’s preseason game against the Saints, but Coen said that because they couldn’t do a padded practice on Monday with the Panthers, he may consider playing his starters a bit on Friday in order to get some “good (players) on good (players)” facing one another.
