Texans declared TE Brevin Jordan, CB Collin Wright, LB Aiden Fisher, OL Febechi Nwaiwu, OL Nate Thomas and DT Jaden Crumedy inactive for Houston’s Week 1 game against the Jets. 2026-09-13 12:00:03 Jordan is a healthy scratch after missing most of the last two seasons to injury. No real surprises here. Thomas was just acquired in trade at last cuts and will likely play his way into a reserve role at some point. The only player who was out or questionable for the Texans on the Friday injury report was Kayden McDonald, who headed to injured reserve. |

Texans signed TE Brevin Jordan. 2026-09-01 14:00:02 He was released at last cuts, but comes back as the Texans created extra roster space with a few injured reserve placements. DL Dominique Robinson also re-signed with the team. |

Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans said that TE Brevin Jordan (knee) is being eased back in at organized team activities. 2026-05-28 17:00:03 Jordan is participating in some capacity. Per Ryans, Jordan “had a really big play yesterday on a choice route.” Jordan, 25, has played just two games in each of the last two seasons, having torn an ACL in September 2024 and another in August 2025. If he can remain healthy, Jordan will compete for a backup role this season. |
