Braelon Allen took over as the Jets’ lead back, a role he’ll likely continue to occupy in Week 4 against the Bears’ gettable rush defense if Hall is sidelined. Allen should be rostered in all leagues and could be a top-20 option in Week 4. |

Jets HC Aaron Glenn said he will not have an update on Breece Hall (thigh) until Wednesday. 2026-09-28 10:00:02 Hall exited in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s loss to the Lions and did not return to the field after being ruled out quickly. Braelon Allen went on to handle backfield duties for the remainder of the game and will be a top waiver wire add this week if Hall were to miss any time. Hall has gotten off to a bit of a slow start this season, rushing for 51-163-1 (3.2 YPC), but has caught all 10 of his targets for 102 scoreless yards. Allen would be a fringe RB2/RB3 in Week 4 against the Bears if Hall is held out. |

Breece Hall suffered a thigh injury in Week 3 against the Lions and will not return. 2026-09-27 16:00:02 Hall was thrown to the ground on a red zone carry early in the fourth quarter and immediately grabbed at his thigh. He was slow to get up and left for the medical tent. The team ruled Hall out rather quickly, possibly signaling that the injury is serious. Braelon Allen will see the bulk of the touches for the remainder of the game. |

Breece Hall rushed 16 times for 29 yards in the Jets’ Week 2 loss to the Packers, adding 63 yards receiving on five catches. 2026-09-20 18:00:02 Hall couldn’t get anything going on the ground, and that was mainly on the offensive line, which got no push against the Packers’ defensive front. More troubling was that Hall played on 48 of the team’s 74 snaps and ceded work to Braelon Allen, including a goal-line touchdown run. Hall’s receiving ability will help him save some fantasy value, and his 43-yard reception was basically all thanks to his ability after the catch, but the offensive line and Allen may keep Hall as a low-end RB2 unless his role changes. |
