The scoring woes could persist considering the robust red zone role of cohort Kyren Williams, the latter of whom found pay dirt for the second consecutive game to open the season. Corum continues to be a difficult weekly start outside of deeper leagues for as long as he is taken off the field where it matters most to fantasy production, and will remain a borderline FLEX start when the Rams face the Broncos in Week 3. |

Blake Corum rushed 10 times for 54 yards in the Rams’ Week 1 loss to the 49ers. 2026-09-11 00:00:02 Corum was unable to find the end zone while Kyren Williams did, but Corum was the more efficient tailback between the 20s with Williams only tallying 41 yards. He was also a non-factor in the passing game, but the Rams were basically a non factor in the passing game with Matthew Stafford struggling to figure out the 49ers’ defense. Corum could see more touches in Week 2 against the Giants, but there’s no guarantee. |

The Athletic’s Nate Atkins expects Rams RB Blake Corum to operate as “a change-of-pace option with explosive capabilities” in “more of a 50-50 split” this season. 2026-05-01 21:00:03 Rams veteran RB Kyren Williams is expected to be the “primary third-down back and between-the-tackles runner,” which could get him most of the high-value touches. Atkins did not address whether Corum will get a chance to compete for the two-minute drill role, though. That would be big for him. If Corum does manage to take on half of the backfield touches, though, that should be enough to keep him in the low-end RB2, thanks in part to the Rams’ high-scoring offense. |
