| News for Wright, Jaylen |

|
Jaylen Wright (foot) was limited during practice Wednesday. 2026-09-30 13:00:02 Wright was inactive with his foot injury last week against Kansas City. De’Von Achane went down with a season-ending ACL injury and Ollie Gordon took over as the team’s workhorse with no other running back on the active roster. Dolphins coaches have implied that both Gordon and Wright will get work in the Miami backfield with Achane out. An even backfield split would make both Wright and Gordon nothing more than deep-league flex plays. |

Dolphins declared RB Jaylen Wright (foot/stinger), WR Caleb Douglas (ankle), EDGE Rob Beal Jr. (hamstring), QB Brady Cook, DB Marcellas Dial Jr., G DJ Campbell and T Chukwuebuka Godrick inactive for Miami’s Week 3 game against the Chiefs. 2026-09-27 12:00:02 CB JuJu Brents and WR Ryan Miller will play off questionable tags. Wright has fallen behind Ollie Gordon in the pecking order, though nobody is really making any fantasy hay in the Miami backfield given the talent surrounding them. |

Dolphins RB Jaylen Wright (stinger/foot) is doubtful for Week 3 against the Chiefs. 2026-09-25 18:00:02 Wright was unable to practice on Friday. He is very unlikely to play, although his absence may only be felt in the return game. Dolphins RB Ollie Gordon will serve as the top backup. |

Jaylen Wright (stinger/foot) was limited in Wednesday’s practice. 2026-09-23 17:00:01 Wright and Ollie Gordon each have three carries this year. De’Von Achane has 31. Even if the backup role gets narrowed to just Gordon, there isn’t any fantasy value to be had behind Achane. |

Dolphins OC Bobby Slowik said RB Jaylen Wright “is showing a greater comfort level this season.” 2026-06-04 14:00:02 The Dolphins are expected to employ a very run-heavy approach this season, so the Dolphins’ RB2 might get a handful of touches each week. Wright will have a tough time returning FLEX value on that workload but like Slowik says, “my man has some speed.” Perhaps Wright will be worth stashing on benches this year. We’ll see how training camp pans out. |
