Braelon Allen rushed four times for 14 yards in the Jets’ Week 3 loss to the Lions, adding three catches for three yards. 2026-09-27 18:00:02 Breece Hall suffered a thigh injury late in this game and did not return, leaving Allen as the lead back for the Jets’ final two drives. He touched the ball six times on the pair of drives. Fellow backup Isaiah Davis saw one touch in the entire game and it was before the Hall injury. His role would likely grow if Hall misses time, but Allen is the clear target in his backfield on waivers. Allen would push for an RB2 ranking if Hall is sidelined for Week 4 against the Bears. |

Braelon Allen rushed 10 times for 40 yards in the Jets’ Week 1 win over the Titans. 2026-09-14 00:00:02 The only Jets back to touch the ball behind Breece Hall — Isaiah Davis was not heard from — Allen was mixed in throughout the game as a true breather back. As in, he did not rack up a disproportionate amount of his touches with the Jets looking to kill the clock late in a sleepy victory. Allen actually notched a nifty 23-yard touchdown run in the third quarter, but it was called back by holding. Although Allen would undoubtedly form a committee with Davis in the event of a Hall injury, it is clear he would be the strong-side. He’s a high-upside contingency back heading in to Week 2 against the Packers. |

Jets RB Braelon Allen rushed four times for 44 yards and one touchdown in Friday’s preseason game against the Buccaneers. 2026-08-14 22:00:02 Allen stole one snap from starting RB Breece Hall on the first drive. Allen then stayed on the field for all of the second drive, breaking off a beautiful 31-yard touchdown run to put the Jets up 10-0 at the end of it. On his scoring play, Allen broke left at the snap before cutting it back and exploding through the line between the right guard and right tackle. It was a foot race to the end zone after that. The performance should solidify his grip on the RB2 role. |

Braelon Allen said he is up to 250 pounds and is the biggest, strongest, and fastest he has ever been. 2026-06-10 15:00:03 Despite adding 15 pounds since entering the NFL, Allen said this is the lowest his body fat percentage has ever been. Allen missed most of the 2025 season with a knee injury that eventually required surgery. At this point, it sounds like his recovery is complete. Head coach Aaron Glenn talked up his potential in the passing game, though he said that he views Breece Hall, Allen, and Isaiah Davis as a “three-headed monster.” Allen could have some minor stand-alone value as a short-yardage back this year, but the presence of Davis will likely prevent him from making much of an impact on the redraft fantasy landscape. |

Despite the team’s hope that Allen could return at some point in the season, the injury proved to be season-ending and required surgery to correct. Allen saw 21 opportunities in the four games he appeared in for the Jets last season and rushed for 92-334-2 as a rookie in 2024. While he figures to earn the RB2 role behind Breece Hall for this season, we wouldn’t expect Allen to have much standalone value as long as Hall is healthy. |
