Saints signed EDGE Anfernee Jennings, formerly of the Patriots.

Anfernee, Jennings
Apr 26, 2026 15:00

The Patriots drafted Jennings via a third-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. This will be his first time playing for a new team. He is best suited to a rotational role, but can defend against the run as well as rush the passer. Last season, he totaled 15 quarterback pressures, two sacks and 13 tackles.

Donovan Smith retired after nine years in the NFL.

Donovan, Smith
Apr 26, 2026 15:00

Smith spent eight seasons with the Buccaneers, who drafted him in the 2015 NFL Draft’s second round, before signing a one-year deal with the Chiefs back in 2023. He has not played since that season. In 2020, Smith’s Buccaneers defeated the Chiefs in Super Bowl LV and in 2023, his Chiefs defeated the 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII. Smith was also named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team in 2015. He earned more than $66.6 million over the course of his career.

Seahawks and Giants invited USF LB Jhalyn Shuler to their rookie minicamps.

Jhalyn, Shuler
Apr 26, 2026 15:00

Shuler, 23, racked up 206 solo tackles, 29 TFLs, six forced incompletions, three interceptions, 46 quarterback pressures and nine sacks as a four-year college player and three-year starter at USF. He lined up as a box defender on a vast majority of snaps, though he lined up at times over the slot and as an outside linebacker as well.

Browns GM Andrew Berry said the drafting of KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston has “zero impact” on Jerry Jeudy.

WR Jerry, Jeudy CLE
Apr 26, 2026 14:00

The Browns selected two receivers in the top-40 of last week’s draft, taking KC Concepcion 24th overall and Denzel Boston 39th overall. While they clearly addressed a massive weakness on the roster, Berry said he doesn’t expect the addition to have an impact on Jeudy, adding that he prefers to build a receiver room “with different skillsets” and that doesn’t require one player to be a “ball dominant player.” In a somewhat contradictory statement, Berry also said he expects Jeudy, to be the “bell cow” receiver for the team. It’s hard to know what to make of this, but both Concepcion and Boston figure to see the field early as rookies. Even if Jeudy’s snaps don’t see a noticeable decrease, we probably shouldn’t expect him to see anything close to the 142 targets he had in 2024 when he broke out for 92-1,229-4. If head coach Todd Monken can turn around the Browns’ passing game in his first season, Jeudy could have a chance to return value as a fringe WR2/WR3 in fantasy, but there’s a lot to be figured out between now and the start of the season before we can have any kind of confidence in what we should expect.

The Athletic’s Nick Kosmider believes there will be an “immediate role” for Jonah Coleman as the Broncos’ short-yardage RB.

Jonah, Coleman
Apr 26, 2026 14:00

The Broncos used a fourth-round pick to select Coleman in this year’ draft. While it’s not a high enough pick that suggests he will see significant playing time out of the gate, it sounds like he will have a chance to prove himself in certain situations with a chance to earn a heavier workload as he progresses this offseason and into the regular season. While both JK Dobbins and RJ Harvey stand in the way of Coleman, Dobbins is on a two-year deal and would cost just $2 million to cut next offseason, and Harvey struggled on the ground as a rookie, averaging just 3.7 YPC and 2.72 yards after contact per attempt. Coleman will make for an interesting stash in redraft and best ball leagues this offseason, and could turn into a touchdown vulture that puts a hard cap on the fantasy upside of both Dobbins and Harvey.

Seahawks signed Northwestern EDGE Aidan Hubbard.

Aidan, Hubbard
Apr 26, 2026 13:00

Hubbard (6’4"/260) was a stalwart for the Northwestern defense over the last three seasons, and he was able to procure 7.5 sacks and 10 tackles for loss. He didn’t run at the combine while still recovering from a foot injury that limited him at the end of the year, but he’s viewed as a quality athlete with solid burst, and he gets quality reviews for his effort. If there’s a knock on Hubbard, it’s that he isn’t viewed as the strongest player and can get knocked back by bigger lineman; something he’ll obviously see more of at the highest level. He’ll likely to show the ability to play special teams while hopefully developing into a potential situational rusher in the coming years.

The Athletic Football Show’s Dave Helman believes Bills WR Skyler Bell could be “Ja’Marr Chase lite” in the NFL.

Skyler, Bell
Apr 26, 2026 13:00

Taken by Buffalo with the 125th pick in the 2026 draft, Bell — a hyper-productive wideout at UConn — joins DJ Moore, Khalil Shakir, Josh Palmer, and Keon Coleman in an underwhelming receivers room. Bell, Helman said, enters the NFL with a multifaceted skill set that is highly valued among most NFL front offices. “This is probably the most reckless thing I’ll say on this show,” Helman said. “This is Ja’Marr Chase lite. He’s a freak athlete, he’s explosive, but he’s very powerful and strong. And watching him, I was just like, obviously, he’s not Ja’Marr Chase ... but he does all that type of stuff. He can take it to the house. He can just body people out of the way. He can high point the ball. If I was trying to get Ja’Marr Chase’s skillset on late day two or even into day three, I’m all the way in on this guy.” Helman wasn’t along in his praise of Bell, who last season was second among all college wideouts in yards per route run. Ryan Fowler of NBC Sports Philadelphia said in March that Bell, 23, was close to a Round One prospect. The Bills took him late on the third day of the draft.

Chargers signed Utah LB Lander Barton.

Lander, Barton
Apr 26, 2026 11:00

Barton (6'5"/233) was named the Pac-12 Defensive Freshman of the Year and made the Freshman All-American squad with Utah in 2022. He received no accolades over the past three seasons. He had a career year in 2024, totaling 72 tackles, five TFLs, two sacks, one forced fumble, four passes defended and two interceptions. He primarily played linebacker in 2025, but chipped in as a tight end as well, logging 120 offensive snaps in his final college season. He caught 6-of-7 passes for 44 yards and one touchdown. Titans LB Cody Barton and former Browns OT Jackson Barton are his older brothers.

Chiefs signed Duke EDGE Vincent Anthony Jr.

Vincent, Anthony Jr.
Apr 26, 2026 11:00

Anthony Jr. (6’6"/258) started all four of his seasons at Duke, giving him over 1,700 career defensive snaps with a couple hundred more on special teams. He peaked at 7.5 sacks with 13 TFLs in 2025. His advanced numbers weren’t quite as impressive. He ranked 104th among EDGE defenders in pressures (32) and had a 33.3 percent missed tackle rate, which is one of the highest marks in the class. Antony Jr. has enough bend to turn the corner and chase down quarterbacks, but he’s a liability in the run game and tends to get manhandled if he doesn’t get by tackles on his first go. He will need a year on a practice squad to develop his power at the NFL level.

Packers signed Auburn OG Dillon Wade.

Dillon, Wade
Apr 26, 2026 10:00

Wade (6’3"/316) is a movement-based interior lineman with elite athletic traits, posting a 9.23 RAS highlighted by a 95th-percentile 5.02 forty and explosive short-area splits that show up on tape when climbing and pulling. He was one of the most efficient pass protectors in the country, surrendering a microscopic 0.2% pressure rate with zero sacks allowed across 413 pass-block reps. His initial quickness and lateral mobility allow him to win early in pass pro and consistently position himself between rushers and the pocket, while also making him a natural fit in zone-heavy run schemes. Wade’s profile is more finesse than force, as his average play strength and inconsistent anchor can lead to balance issues when defenders attack his frame with power. He flashes adequate technique but lacks the displacement ability to consistently uproot defenders in the run game, reflected in a middling 2.6 percent blown run block rate and inconsistent drive-block finishes. Wade’s experience across multiple spots and four straight seasons of 700+ snaps provides a strong developmental floor, but his projection is clearly interior-only at the next level. He projects as a zone-scheme guard whose athleticism and pass protection efficiency give him a path to early rotational value if he can improve his play strength.

Dolphins signed Indiana S Louis Moore.

Louis, Moore
Apr 26, 2026 03:00

Moore (5'10/191) spent seven years at the collegiate level and enters the professional ranks as a seasoned 25-year-old. After starting his career as a wide receiver at Navarro College, Moore made the transition to defensive back for Mississippi before playing the final season in college at Indiana, where he earned Second-Team Associated Press All-American and First-Team All-Big Ten honors. His elite instincts resulted in six interceptions in 2025, tied for second in the FBS, but average athleticism and speed could be difficult to overcome at the NFL level. Moore will likely be forced to work his way up from the practice squad to begin his career.

Packers signed TE RJ Maryland.

RJ, Maryland
Apr 25, 2026 23:00

Maryland (6’4/236) struggles as a blocker in the run game, profiling instead as a receiving tight end. He made steady box score progress through his first two seasons at SMU in 2022 and 2023. A promising 2024 campaign was cut short by an ACL tear suffered in Week 8. Over his four-year college career, he caught 113-of-166 targets for 1,493 yards and 19 touchdowns. Maryland should be viewed as a developmental prospect, albeit one with potential. His father, Russell Maryland, won three Super Bowls with the Cowboys as a defensive tackle after being drafted with the No. 1 overall pick in 1999.

Packers signed Florida WR J. Michael Sturdivant.

J. Michael, Sturdivant
Apr 25, 2026 22:00

Sturdivant, 23, flashed high-end athleticism at the NFL Scouting Combine, while measuring 6’3/207. The 65/755/7 receiving line he posted as a redshirt freshman in 2022 ended up being a career-best. The Athletic’s Dane Brugler notes Sturdivant led all FBS freshmen in receiving that year. He spent two seasons at Cal before transferring to UCLA for two more, and ended up at Florida for a one-off campaign. He will need to contribute via special teams to have any short at the 53-man roster in 2026.

UConn QB Joe Fagnano will attend Ravens rookie minicamp.

Joe, Fagnano
Apr 25, 2026 21:00

Fagnano (6’3”/226) is a rare seventh-year prospect who got his start at Maine in 2019. The 25-year-old signal-caller transferred to UConn in 2023 and started the final three games of the 2024 season before entering last season as the full-time starter. He has good size for the position and posted an impressive 48:5 TD:INT ratio in his final two college seasons, but Fagnano lacks ideal arm strength and struggles at times to avoid sacks when pressured. In his final game, Fagnano threw for an impressive 446-3-0 against FAU and ended his season with 3,448-28-1. He will look to earn a spot on the Ravens’ roster ahead of training camp via his tryout at rookie minicamp.

Chargers signed EDGE Nadame Tucker.

Nadame, Tucker
Apr 25, 2026 21:00

After two years of JUCO ball and three years at Houston where he played in a total of 13 games, Tucker made the decision to transfer to Central Michigan, and it worked out well. No player had more tackles for loss (21) or sacks (14.5), and he forced four fumbles for good measure. The 6-foot-1, 247-pound defender clearly was productive, but he didn’t answer concerns about how it’ll play at a higher level at the combine. He ran a 4.73s 40-yard dash, and his 33.5-inch vertical isn’t a number that screams explosive, either. Still, Tucker gets solid reviews for his pass-rush moves and his quickness off the ball, and he’ll get a chance to show the production means more than the testing.

Commanders signed UTSA RB Robert Henry Jr.

Robert, Henry Jr.
Apr 25, 2026 21:00

Henry (5’9”/196) is an undersized back who spent five seasons at the college ranks, starting his career at JUCO Jones College in 2021 before making the leap to UTSA in 2023. Henry rushed for 127-588-11 in his first season with the Roadrunners, leading them in touchdowns, and was the unquestioned lead back in his final two seasons. Henry tested well in the explosiveness drills at this year’s scouting combine, but his size, coupled with his 4.52 40 time, resulted in a 6.91 RAS. He’s an average athlete at the position and has never shown enough to suggest he’ll have a three-down skillset at the next level. Henry caught 58 passes for 428 yards in three seasons at UTSA, with his season-high in receiving yards (199) coming in 2024. Henry forced missed tackles at a 24.4 percent clip on his rush attempts, and averaged a career-best 4.25 yards after contact per attempt in his final season. He still has work to do to develop in pass protection, which could further hinder his chances of getting third-down work, but his size and average athleticism could also work against him in the pros. He’ll need to impress on special teams if he hopes to crack a 53-man roster early in his career, and will be learning on the fly as PFF credits him with just eight career ST snaps in three seasons.

Texans signed Stanford CB Collin Wright.

Collin, Wright
Apr 25, 2026 21:00

Wright (6'0"/188) was a three-year starter at Stanford, manning the perimeter in his sophomore and senior campaigns. He operated as an inside-outside coverage defender in 2024 and led the Cardinal in passes defended (five) and interceptions (three). Wright participated in the vertical jump (39”) at the NFL Scouting Combine. His inside-outside versatility should help him secure an NFL roster spot.

Ravens signed Ole Miss OT Diego Pounds.

Diego, Pounds
Apr 25, 2026 21:00

Pounds (6’5/325) is a filled-out left tackle who pairs a thick lower half with nearly 34-inch arms and surprising movement skills for a 325-pounder. Pounds posted a solid 2025 campaign in pass protection with a 75.8 PFF pass-block grade and 98.5 efficiency, allowing zero sacks and 16 pressures on 583 pass-blocking snaps. He wins with grip strength and a jarring initial punch, using lighter-than-expected feet to stay square and recover against edge speed. Athletically, Pounds checks the boxes with an 8.57 RAS, showing good straight-line speed and explosiveness that translate to his ability to mirror and climb when he’s on balance. However, his run blocking lags behind (51.7 grade in 2025), as he struggles to consistently connect on the move and can allow defenders into his chest due to pad level and hand placement inconsistencies. He has played almost exclusively at left tackle, leaving some projection required if teams view him as a swing option. With size, length and pass protection upside, Pounds has eventual 53-man roster potential if his run-game technique and play strength consistency improve.

Chargers signed OT Isaiah World.

Isaiah, World
Apr 25, 2026 21:00

World (6’7/318) is a long, physically imposing tackle prospect (34½" arms, 81" wingspan) with 50+ career starts. He transferred from Nevada to Oregon and turned in a solid, but uneven, 2025 campaign. He posted a 65.4 overall PFF grade with a 62.8 pass-blocking mark, allowing just 1 sack and 18 total pressures across 437 pass-blocking snaps, flashing the foot quickness and range to mirror speed rushers on the edge. World’s athletic profile shows up in his ability to spring out of his stance, climb to the second level and win with extension, using his length to keep defenders off his frame when his timing is right. That said, his game remains technically underdeveloped, with narrow pass sets, late hands, and inconsistent anchor strength. That has led to compromised positioning and stalled reps against power. World projects as a high-upside, developmental tackle with starter traits, whose combination of size, experience, and movement skills will require NFL refinement to unlock his ceiling.

Browns signed Florida EDGE Tyreak Sapp.

Tyreak, Sapp
Apr 25, 2026 21:00

Sapp (6’2/273) was excellent in 2024 during his redshirt junior season at Florida with seven sacks and 13 tackles for loss. That production dwindled considerably in 2025, as he finished with just one sack and 3.5 tackles for loss despite starting all 12 games for the Gators. His size and strength are considered his best assets with the potential to both rush from the inside and out, but he didn’t show the same sort of quickness during his senior season, and he gets the “tweener” designation because he doesn’t really fit at defensive tackle or as an EDGE. Sapp’s 2024 production is tough to ignore, but it’s hard to envision him being much more than a rotational player in the NFL.

Eagles signed Ole Miss TE Dae’Quan Wright.

Dae'Quan, Wright
Apr 25, 2026 21:00

Transferring to Ole Miss after two productive seasons at Virginia Tech, Wright (6’4/246) tallied 66 receptions for 1,029 yards and nine touchdowns from 2024-2025. He made splash plays often, tallying 12 receptions over 20 yards while nursing an injured right shoulder last season. According to PFF, Wright averaged 10.9 yards after catch per reception, No. 2 among qualifying FBS tight ends. The speed he possesses threatens safeties downfield; he can stretch the field vertically while a compact frame allows him to shake off defenders. Wright is a bit inconsistent as a blocker, needing improvement in technique to be trusted in the run game. His athletic receiving ability is his best tool heading into the draft. Wright will need development before he can start for an NFL team, but he can certainly join a tight end room as a pass-catcher slowly earning reps through improving blocking ability.

Cowboys signed Baylor TE Michael Trigg.

Michael, Trigg
Apr 25, 2026 21:00

After quiet stints at USC and Ole Miss, Trigg (6’4/240) carved out a seem-stretching role at Baylor in his fourth collegiate season. He racked up 395 yards in 2024 and upped that to 694 in 2025. No matter what school he was at, Trigg’s coaches used him much farther downfield than the average tight end. He finished his career with an average target depth of 10.5, one of the highest marks in the class. That’s a valuable role for a tight end, but Trigg will need to polish his game at the catch-point in the pros. He brought down just 45 percent of his career contested targets and dropped an FBS-leading seven passes in 2025. Trigg missed the NFL Combine with a hamstring injury. That issue flared up at Baylor’s Pro Day after he logged a dismal 27.5” vertical jump. Trigg’s tape is full of big plays and equally shocking drops. Without athletic measurables, he will likely be considered a developmental project by his NFL team.

Vikings signed UNC CB Marcus Allen.

Marcus, Allen
Apr 25, 2026 21:00

Allen (6'2/187) worked his way into the Tar Heels’ starting lineup late in his 2022 freshman year and never relinquished the role. He led the team twice in passes defended, yet has just three career interceptions. Allen, 22, ran a 4.50-second 40 at the NFL Scouting Combine and produced a 39” vertical jump. He has special teams experience, which will help give him a leg up on a 53-man roster spot, though the practice squad remains his most likely 2026 home.

Eagles signed LB Deontae Lawson

Deontae, Lawson
Apr 25, 2026 21:00

Lawson (6’3/226) operated as the shot-caller in Alabama’s front, compiling 85 tackles with a 57.6 percent run-stop share, while adding 10 havoc plays and 6 run stops as a high-volume interior presence. His 85.9 percent tackle rate reflects solid finishing consistency, though his production profile leans more toward stability than splash with just 4 TFLs and 1.5 sacks. Lawson flashes utility as a blitzer, generating 12 pressures on 93 rushes (12.9 percent pressure rate). A 3.06 time-to-first-pressure showed enough timing and feel to attack interior creases. He wins with anticipation and play speed, staying square through traffic and using controlled footwork to navigate blocks rather than stacking and shedding with power. Athletically, Lawson presents as an average-to-good mover without elite top-end traits, relying more on processing and angles than dynamic range to close space. His high-cut frame and modest play strength can show up against climbing linemen, limiting his ability to consistently hold the point or finish through contact at the second level. Lawson projects as a rotational MIKE or WILL with core special teams value, offering early-down reliability and leadership traits that could lead to a spot starter in a scheme that emphasizes instincts over range.

Broncos signed Georgia Tech CB Ahmari Harvey.

Ahmari, Harvey
Apr 25, 2026 21:00

Harvey (5'11/185), 23, spent one season at Auburn before transferring to Georgia Tech in 2022. He totaled 26 tackles, three TFLs, one sack and seven passes defended last year. He produced 15 bench press reps at the NFL Scouting Combine and opted out of the other tests, three of which he completed at Georgia Tech’s Pro Day, though the results were underwhelming, including a 9’8 broad jump. Harvey can contribute on special teams and will likely have to in order to make an NFL roster. He dislocated his right ankle last year.
